Minco Historical Society World War II involved every major world power in a war for global domination, and at its end, more than 60 million people had lost their lives. Most of Europe and large parts of Asia lay in ruins. It seemed all our young men in Minco disappeared in a matter of days, as they enlisted to serve wherever needed.
ASCOG recognizes Cogar VFD teamwork

Chief Jarrett McRee of the Cogar Volunteer Fire Department accepted an award on behalf of the fire department from the Association of South Central Oklahoma Governments (ASCOG) for the renovation and addition to the department’s building.
