The high school basketball teams had a busy week beginning  Monday at Dibble and ending up Saturday in their own Bulldog Classic Tournament.

Once again the two teams ended up with different results.

The girls, although leading marginally at the half,  ended up losing 46-50.  It was tied 35-35 at the end of the 3rd quarter, but Dibble’s home court and home crowd advantage along with being in the bonus helped cinch the win.

A trio of girls, Kelln Bodley, Kiley Utsler and Jentry Overton, added 6 points each. Brittney Elrod had 7 points of her own. Rylee Reddinger had a strong night on the boards with 21 points. The most in the game by a  single player.

The boys started off with the lead and were able to maintain it the whole game.

A score of 35-27 at halftime stretched to a final of 63-54.

The boys played well together and Cade Shirley hot with his threes was the key to this win.

The two high scorers of the night for the bulldogs were Cade Shirley with 21 points,  15 of those points were from 3 point range  and Josh Stewart had 15 of his own points. The remaining points were added by Jaob Stewart, 10; Kelby Anthony 8; Dane Brummel with 6 and Max Morrison with 3.
