Minco Cheer Squads earn Awards

The Minco High School and Junior High cheer squads attended cheerleading camp at The University of Oklahoma on July 17-19. 
Both teams had a productive three days of learning new material & stunt techniques while also bringing home numerous awards. MHS cheer was awarded Game Time Top Team while MJH brought home the trophy for Champion Chant division. 
Both squads were awarded the S.T.U.N.T. Award for safety techniques while stunting, multiple Superior and Excellent ribbons for team evaluations and the NCA Spirit Stick. 
MHS cheer was also recognized for outstanding motions in cheer/chants during camps. Multiple cheerleaders were nominated for NCA All-American. MHS nominees were Adelina Duty, Jentry Overton & Brianna Perkins. 
MJH nominees were Kaylee Bute, Marleigh Davis, Cassidy Franklin, Emme Douglas and Toshza Wallin.
